Project Name: Economic Empowerment through Trust Capital KIRA Microfinance PLC

Background:

Trust Capital KIRA Microfinance PLC is a deposit-taking microfinance institution regulated by the Central Bank of Rwanda. Established in 2015, Trust Capital KIRA aims to become the largest digital financial institution in Rwanda, with a vision to provide financial and non-financial services to the active economic population, particularly targeting women and youth.

Project Vision:

The project envisions fostering economic empowerment and financial inclusion among the economically active population, especially women and youth, through the services provided by Trust Capital KIRA Microfinance PLC.

Project Mission:

The mission of the project is to contribute to the creation of a prosperous community where young entrepreneurs and women can access financial services easily in a digital-friendly manner. By leveraging Trust Capital KIRA’s offerings, the project seeks to enhance financial access and promote economic sustainability.

Project Objectives:

1. Facilitate access to financial services for economically active individuals, particularly women and youth.

2. Strengthen Trust Capital KIRA’s position as a leading digital microfinance institution in Rwanda.

3. Promote sustainable economic activities by providing tailored financial products and services.

4. Contribute to the development of Rwanda and other countries where Trust Capital KIRA operates.

Target Beneficiaries:

The project primarily targets economically active individuals, especially women and youth, engaged in various sectors such as commerce, services, production/industry, agriculture, and livestock.

Key Activities:

1. Conduct outreach and awareness campaigns to promote Trust Capital KIRA’s financial products and services.

2. Provide training and capacity building programs for staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.

3. Develop innovative digital solutions to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.

4. Implement responsible environmental practices and support local community programs.

5. Monitor and evaluate the project’s progress towards achieving its objectives.

Expected Outcomes:

1. Increased access to financial services for economically active individuals, particularly women and youth.

2. Enhanced digital capabilities and customer satisfaction within Trust Capital KIRA Microfinance PLC.

3. Promotion of sustainable economic activities and contribution to community development.

4. Strengthening of Trust Capital KIRA’s position as a reliable financial institution in Rwanda and beyond.

Project Partnerships:

The project will collaborate with various stakeholders including government agencies, NGOs, local communities, and other financial institutions to achieve its objectives effectively.

The project aims to leverage the expertise and resources of Trust Capital KIRA Microfinance PLC to promote economic empowerment and financial inclusion among the economically active population, aligning with the vision and mission of Authentic Development Agency under Authentic Word Ministries. Through strategic partnerships and innovative approaches, the project seeks to make a significant contribution to the development of Rwanda and the well-being of its citizens.
